Aspects of Multifractal Modelling

چکیده
The Concentration-Area (C-A) method is applied to geochemical map patterns satisfying the model of De Wijs. Results derived for the spatial distribution of gold in altered Jurassic volcanic rocks in the MitchellSulphurets area of northwestern British Columbia confirm earlier multifractal modelling. However, the possibility of departures from the Pareto-type upper tail model of the frequency distrbution of element concentration values should be considered.
